XOP MHS Rubicon Kit Breakdown: What Comes in the Setup and Who It Fits Best
What Comes in the XOP MHS Rubicon Setup
You just got blessed with buying the MHS Rubicon setup and here's what's in the pack. So you've got the premium pack straps to haul it out to whatever spot you got, you've got the tried-and-true X2s 4-pack, and then you've got the Rubicon platform, one of my favorites, a mesh seat, pad with it, and then your two cam straps for the stand and then four cam straps for your sticks. The Rubicon is a great setup for the guys who are semi-mobile, so you might leave it for half the season and then deer pattern shift and you're gonna move it to a different location for the rut for a week or so there.
The XOP MHS Rubicon setup includes premium pack straps, X2 climbing sticks, the Rubicon stand, mesh seat pad, J-hooks, and cam straps. It is built for hunters who want a semi-mobile hang-on system that can be moved when deer patterns shift or left in place when needed.
Why the Rubicon Works for Semi-Mobile Hunting
That's really where I find this to be really good as it's a great happy medium for a lot of the mobile guys, but also the guys who are hanging it and leaving it for a little bit. So great setup there. The X2s, the way they attach there is super slick, so we use our tried-and-true J hook system and throw those on.
How the X2 Sticks Attach to the Rubicon
Really easy, grab a rung, send the hook through it, grab the stand with that hook and then cinch that nut down. Do the same thing on the other side. The seat kit cushion just slides right over the mesh seat.
Adding the Seat Kit Cushion
It's a tight fit, that way it ensures that it stays on there nice and secure. Slide that right down, send the strap through to the other side, pull it tight. This is the MHS Rubicon.
